Finding the perfect necklace length can be a difficult task. Will the pendant look good above the bust, or would it fall better below? Everyone's body is unique, so there isn't necessarily a one-size-fits-all solution, but we put together a couple of tips to help find the right fit for you.
Tips On How To Find The Best Necklace Length
Measure it out.
When in doubt, wrap a string or strand of dental floss around your neck. Cut it to your desired length and measure with a ruler or tape measurer. If you don't see the exact size you're looking for on a product listing, we can customize the length for you, we just ask that you contact us first.
Size up or down based on your neck and bust.
If you have a bigger bust or wider neck, we recommend sizing up to give yourself some extra length. If you're the opposite, the sizing shown in the diagram above will be more true to length.
Follow our guidelines.
We do our best to provide recommendation for necklace length on each of our product pages for easy shopping. Our smaller charm necklaces look best on shorter chains (18 inches and up), and our larger statement pendants look best on a longer chain (24 inches and up).
Give yourself options.
Consider purchasing an additional chain to play with layers or give new life to one of your old pendants. This will also help you determine which length you prefer.
