Finding the perfect necklace length can be a daunting task. Will the pendant look good above the bust, or would it fall better below? Everyone's body is unique, so there isn't necessarily a one-size-fits-all solution, but we put together a couple of tips to help find the right fit for you.

Tips On How To Find The Best Necklace Length

Measure it out.
When in doubt, wrap a string or strand of dental floss around your neck. Cut it to your desired length and measure with a ruler or tape measurer. If you don't see the exact size you're looking for on a product listing, we can customize the length for you! Include a note with your order with the desired length or get in touch

Size up or down based on your neck and bust.
If you have a bigger bust or wider neck, we recommend sizing up to give yourself some extra length.

Follow our guidelines.
Our smaller charm necklaces look best on shorter chains (16-20 inches), and our larger statement pendants look best on a longer chain (24 and up).

Create the perfect layered look.
We're often asked which lengths work best for layered looks. While keeping the tips about bust and neck size in mind, give 2-4 inches of breathing room between each necklace. For example, if you would like to pair our Tiny Pine Cone Necklace with the Branch Necklace, go for 16-18 inches for the pine cone and 18-20 inches for the branch.

If you layer pieces often, our Necklace Spacer is essential. Simply attach your pieces to the magnetic clasp and put your necklaces on all at once!

Give yourself options.
Consider purchasing an additional chain to play with layers or give new life to one of your old pendants. This will also help you determine which length you prefer.
